Dancing has been a huge part of my life since starting Ballet at the age of 5 years competing in competitions and sitting examinations up to Intermediate in the RAD ballet syllabus.
At the age of 12 years I commenced Tap lessons with Ken Wright and a few years later added Modern Dance to my training. My passion for Dance has continued through the years with my own 3 girls all dancing and competing with great success. I have also coached many dancers who have achieved very high standards and won many titles in competitions and national events in both New Zealand and Australia. I passed all my B.B.O. tap examinations with Honours later training in the N.Z.A.M.D tap syllabus and will be teaching this syllabus along with the Glen Woods Tap syllabus for Jk Danceworks.
I am passionate at inspiring our dancers to work hard but enjoy their performances and I love to see the confident young adults they become due to their successes and love of dance.
